Uncle Lee's, friendly efficient service Some of the best Chinese food around. Spicy won tons a must have appetizer, the move on to moo shoo pork, well worth the 30 minute drive we have to get there

Uncle Lee's, formerly China Village, is the best of this kind of restaurant outside of the International District. It used to be strictly Chinese (Chinese-American) but with the name change came Thai staples to their menu. Phad Thai, Basil Chicken, Phad Kee Mao, Squid with Basil, and all the Curries are represented as well. Their Phad Thai is as good as I've had, seriously. When they were China Village their menu featured 10 ingredient special Lo Mein. The new menu does not feature it but they will make it for you. Fresh noodles or not, Iternational district or not, it is my families favorite lo Mein in the city, and with their Phad Thai they represent noodles well. The Lo Mein is deliciously smokey. They also don't overcook their proteins. It is a great restaurant for the neighborhood to eat in or take out, and Amy, host and owner will remember you forever and is genuinely excited to see and wait on you!

This place used to be called China Village, and it's been run by the same family for thirty years. Our first time, and it was good, though a little more spendy than I expected. Lots of regulars, and the ladies who served us- Amy and Sally- made us feel right at home. Recommended, though be prepared to pay about $90 for two. We had egg rolls and pot stickers to start, our entrees (honey walnut shrimp for my companion, General Tso's chicken for me), two vodka sodas and one beer (three drinks total). With tax and 20% tip, ninety bucks.
